BCUD Process Introduction
The BCUD process—short for BJT, CMOS, and Ultra Density DMOS—enables products that integrate the strengths of LDMOS and VDMOS, delivering high‑frequency performance, low conduction resistance, and dense device integration. With full CMOS compatibility, it allows seamless bridging with control circuitry. Components developed through the BCUD process are branded as Ultra MOS.
Bridging with CMOS process
The BCUD design is based on shallow trench isolation, which is a standard step in CMOS technology. As a result, it is fully compatible with CMOS processes and can easily connect to the logic section while completing the entire device.
High‑density DMOS combined with BJT and CMOS constitutes the BCUD process.
